This application captures and manages information on Water for Production activities (Irrigation, livestock watering, aquaculture, rural industries and other commercial uses). a) The mobile application developed under WEMIS will ease data collection and update. Due to its durability of working both online and offline, data collection has been made easy. Initially, we have been using hard copies to collect data but now this is history. b) The system is user friendly, ease to access and provides real time data. c) The system easily analyses different data sets and interprets them for example data on production and productivity. This has made dissemination of this data very easy.
